This week’s poem necessitated by a fantastic sister’s tour of Ireland, which was highly inspiring, but somehow failed to inspire poetically. So, having failed to produce anything more profound I now share a Limerick written about our visit to Limerick.
Limerick in Limerick
Three travelling sisters met up
In Limerick down by the pub
They ordered three beers
And shouted three cheers
We’ve conquered, survived and grown-up.

I love it! It’s good to remember that we don’t always need to take ourselves, or our lives, too seriously!
Thanks, Chris. Yes… as I wrote in another poem. The crows remind me mockingly not to take myself too seriously….
Brilliant. 🙂
I can always rely on you, Anne!
